Account Deletion

You can delete your SquadSphere account and its data at any time, from inside the app or by email. This page explains exactly what is deleted and what is kept for the other players you played with.

How to delete your account

In the app:

Open Profile and go to the Account tab

Tap Delete account

Confirm with your password, or by typing your email address if you signed in with Google

Deletion is immediate and permanent. There is no waiting period and it cannot be undone.

If you cannot open the app, email support.squadsphere@gmail.com from the address your account is registered with and we will delete it for you.

Deleted straight away

Your profile: name, email address, mobile number, city, and password hash

Your YouTube connection, including its encrypted refresh token

Your career statistics

Your notifications and your push notification subscription

Any team where you were the only member

Your session stops working immediately, on every device.

Kept, with you removed from it

A team other players still belong to, and a match other people played in, are not only yours. Those records are kept for the other players, with your account taken out of them:

Your account is unlinked from the team and the match

Your name is replaced with “Removed player”

Your email address and mobile number are erased from those records

You are removed from squads, captaincies, and any stream access you had

If you owned a team that others are still in, the team survives without an owner rather than being deleted from under them

The ball-by-ball scorecard of a completed match remains, because it is the other players' record of their own match. It no longer identifies you.

YouTube access

Deleting your account removes SquadSphere's stored YouTube credentials. You can also revoke SquadSphere's access independently at any time, without deleting your account, at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Broadcasts already published to your YouTube channel belong to your channel and are not affected. Delete them from YouTube Studio if you no longer want them.

What may remain

We may retain minimal records where the law requires it, for example to resolve a dispute or meet an audit obligation. These do not identify you in the app.
